End-to-End Expertise and Exceptional Service
Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates (MOHA), also known as the Cancer Center of Iowa, faced a daunting IT challenge in late 2011 – transitioning technology systems to support their planned move to new Electronic Health Record and Practice Management systems. MOHA has three primary and 22 satellite offices.
Mike Turpin, Director of MOHA, interviewed several technology companies, including one of the INS Family of Companies, Alliance Technologies. Impressed with Alliance Technoloiges' capabilities and positive feedback from their customers, MOHA selected Alliance Technologies as their partner to design and implement a comprehensive technology solution to support their expanding needs.
Whatever it takes delivery approach
Turpin told Alliance Technologies – "We have 90 days to do this." According to Turpin, the scope of a project like MOHA's typically would take 12-18 months to plan and implement. But, MOHA's new Practice Management system had to be live in three months.
Alliance Technologies got to work, quickly recognizing project success required INS Family of Companies involvement to plan, design and deliver the best solution.
The INS Family of Companies team, led by Alliance Technologies, met the tight deadline. The total solution involved replacing 120 workstations and laptops, getting new circuits installed, physically moving the server, setting up virtual servers and creating a new domain.
Turpin worked primarily with Alliance Technologies and appreciated their fast response times, knowledge, skill sets and overall willingness to step up and do whatever needed to be done. INS was involved in the circuit upgrade and Alliance Connect delivered new components for the phone system.
